Your city and food tour of Tangier will include a nice drive through the Ville Nouvelle so that you can learn about the European Architectures. Tangier was, unlike other parts of Morocco, appointed as an International Zone being administered by 8 powers.
You'll have a short break for taking pictures in the Perdicaris Park. This wealthy person had lived in Tangier from the late 19th to beginning of the 20th century.
Continue on the track to the promontory Cap Spartel, the views from here are stunning. At this point, the Atlantic Ocean & the Mediterranean both converge; the lighthouse is still operating to this day.
Drive along the Atlantic Coastline with the possibility to include a camel ride.
Walking Tour
After the sightseeing we’ll drive back to the city and start the food tasting through different local markets, where you'll spend the day out experiencing the local culinary & food of Tangier while getting an insight into the fundamental components of every neighbourhood such as the Mosque, the Hammam & the bakery.
You’ll meander around the intricate alleyways of Tangier that reveal lots of culture while tasting different Moroccan delicacies, and go discovering Tangier local food markets where the farmers sell their fresh veggies and fruits.
The souks in Morocco or markets are divided into sections according to specialty selling spices, antiques, vegetables, olives, leather, chandeliers and much more.
